Case Study
Sagemcom is the European leader in the market for high value-added communicating terminals (set-top boxes, Internet boxes, electricity meters, etc.). With more than 25 million terminals designed, manufactured and delivered each year worldwide, Sagemcom generates 1.6 billion euros in revenue and has 4,000 employees in more than 40 countries.
Committed to improving the skills of its employees, and also in compliance with the rules and regulations, the organization focuses on the training of its team. Sagemcom wants to develop digital training, already in place in their Tunisian R & D centers, to promote access to training, develop new learning methods, complete and expand the existing training.
At the start of 2017, Sagemcom lauched a call for tenders to find specialist who can help in the installation of its Moodle platform and who can fulfill their requirements in creating e-Learning modules. The Experience of Enovation in the development of e-Learning content, being Moodle long-term partner and its competitive offer have strengthened Sagemcom’s selection of e-Learning partners.
Enovation’s team of skilled content developers created three e-Learning modules on corruption prevention, information security awareness and the promotion of gender equality for Sagemcom.
Context and Requirement Analysis: Enovation worked closely with HRD and Sagemcom experts to define the training objectives for each module.
Scripting and storyboarding: Based on the content provided by Sagemcom, Enovation structures the educational scenario into sequences, developing the theme of the training and writing the storyboard.
Animation of the storyboard: Enovation applies Sagemcom’s graphic charter and integrates interactive elements with sequences (video, audio, animations, quizzes, etc.) to meet educational objectives and to capture and hold the attention of employees.
Deployment: In order to test and evaluate this new software, Sagemcom wanted to deploy its first module in the pilot phase with about thirty employees. Developed in record time (3 months), the module was finally made accessible to all employees of the French entity Sagemcom, with the aim of translating each module into 2 languages and to disseminate them eventually to the all of the Group’s 4000 employees.
At the same time, Sagemcom’s IT department relied on Enovation’s technical expertize for deploying and using the Moodle platform.
Professional and methodical, the Enovation team has shown reactivity to create and deliver our first e-Learning modules within the given deadlines and help us in the management of our Moodle platform. I really appreciate our working relationship, based on daily exchanges, and the way in which Enovation has adapted our values to create e-Learning modules in our image, perfectly complementing our training catalog.

The benefits of outsourcing e-Learning content creation are multiple. The partnership with Enovation enabled Sagemcom to be supported in its digitalization of training project and to benefit from the expertize and experience of educational engineers. Although the HRD has highlighted the time-consuming nature of the creation of e-learning modules (the content has been produced by its teams), this outsourcing has had the merit of offering great flexibility to Sagemcom’s HR department. Realized by experts, all in record time, the e-Learning modules perfectly complement the group’s training offer and reinforce its corporate culture.
